Coconut balls with Chocolate Fruit Snacks
Could this be the most delicious thing you ever baked? It might very well be… Coconut flavours combined with the intense taste of Fruit Forest Sweetening Syrup and Chocolate Fruit Snacks, we think it doesn’t get any better than this! Try it and show us your creations!
Recipe for 8 pieces. Ingredients:
135 gr shredded coconut
2 egg whites
80 ml Fruit Forest Sweetening Syrup
75 gr Fruit ForestChocolate Fruit Snacks Raspberry
Preheat the oven to 170˚C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Combine the shredded coconut, egg whites and Sweetening Syrup. Mix this into a thick paste with a spatula.
Roughly chop the Chocolate Fruit snacks and mix them into the coconut paste until even divided.
Make eight equal balls. When you dampen your hands the paste will stick less to your hands and you will get smoother balls. Clean your hands before making each ball.
Put the balls on the baking sheet and bake them in the middle of the oven for about 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let them cool down on an oven rack. The outside becomes crispy while the inside stays moist and chewy.
Store in an airtight container to keep it crispy. Want to eat them the next day? They taste delicious when you heat them up in the oven for a few minutes.
